Looking for opinions......

my wife wants her own sled she currently rides on the back of our 2019 grand touring, she used to ride her own (2010 grand touring 600 etec) and she wants something of her own again

she has limited ability (not very confident and not into speed or anything aggressive) just casual weekend rides

we’re in our early 50s

Thinking about a 600 carb machine don’t want a big machine

most on Kijiji are up around 7000 to 10000 km though not sure if that’s too much or not ?

thanks

at those prices used i would look into a new g4 600 efi. around 10000 new depending on model and your wife would probably be mere comfortable on a short track.

I agree, for the money get a brand new 600 EFI. My friend rented one last week so I had a chance to ride one and it would be perfect for what you want. IMO that is too many km on a 2 stroke. A used 900 ACE might be a good option too.

I would go new 600 EFI or 900 ACE. I would stay away from 600 carb. We had a couple in our group and the girls found the throttle pressure uncomfortable. The Etecs and TBW is so much easier on your thumb.

The 600 carb is a great sled and thats what my wife runs. The down side is the throttle pull and teaching them to run the choke. The 900 ace is a great sled also but probably more than you want to spend. The 600 EFI would get my vote. It will hold its value im sure as well just like the 600 carb has

900ace is the only sled I would consider in your situation. Quiet, easy throttle pull, no smell, so smooth, no oil to worry about. So user friendly. Just gas and go.

600efi and 600 etec are two different sleds.

900ace.  My wife is of the same abilities as yours and she loves it.  We also put every newbie on it when they come to ride and they keep coming back!
