I put together two 770’s awhile back.Hey djm and TT670. First one had stock pistons, dmax head, dynoport y pipe, an ‘03 800 pipe, as it had a shorter mean reflection length, rack carbs and and an rktek flash. Second one had 2 ring dmax pistons and a dmax pipe, same port timing and squish as the first.Awesome engine! I think I still have my notes, including stinger lengths and diameters of the dmax,800r and BMP 800summit etec pipe. The pipes are all close, but the dmax one was designed for that engine combination.I had it in a Rev, so I couldn’t use the dmax y pipe, used a dynoport series 3 800 one. Almost identical to the dmax y pipe. Daylan said the stock y pipe would work fine.I used 25/45 gearing on 10 tooth drivers, 50/40 helix and 8400ish rpm for fast trail. Op, I still have some stuff, so get in touch with me if you want, I’m in Canada. Once it’s setup you’ll love that nasty engine. If I rode a 2 stroke again it would one of those in a light XP chassis. I still have the stuff to do a series 4 770 except for pistons, so I might try that some day. And when Djm talks, it’s best to listen!

Hey guys, I have a pair of series 3 800 cylinders that need a re-plate that I'll never use, I had them stuffed away for another 770 some time ago.  I'm pretty sure they're Non HO but id have to get the casting number to confirm  If anyone wants or needs them, I'll give them away for the cost of shipping.

This is all awesome to read
. I have a SHR / BJ 700 600rs and it made 75 to the track at Goodwin and I have beat few stock 850s . I didd order a new 850 for 2022 but i still have the 700 and it runs strong asf

My last combo was a Trygstad ported 700 based on a 600RS bottom end and it was probably the sweetest most reliable modified 2 stroke I ever owned.  I sold it in 2014 and to my knowledge it hasnt had a hiccup since.
