My god some people are stupid. Standing off on the side of the trail and  a guy in white dodge Dakota truck comes by ? We’re in the middle of the bush, my buddy knows the trails well and says oh he’s a local going too his hunt camp. So he makes a right turn.  my bud goes hmmmm? We’re is he going there’s no camps that way?? So I Finnish my smoke and next thing u know here comes buddy back in his truck ?? So my buddy goes you know this is a ski-do trail eh?. He looks at us and says yeah but it’s crown land 😳 my buddy’s reply is yeah the bush is crown land drive on it not the trail 🤬🤬🤬 so bottom line keep your eyes open you never know what type of idiots are on the trails. And this guy was a few kms in the bush.

A Dodge owner you say... That explains it.

On a serious note. I have seen a couple pictures of vehicles on the trail this year... I think the pandemic has tripped some peoples minds.

Some of those trails back there can be really fast. In the wrong spot that would not end well.
I've been stopped on a trail at a T intersection and had a vehicle go by as well. A close look at the map showed that trail to be an actual cottage road and they were allowed, but there was nothing identifing it any differently and I would not have been expecting that coming around a bend.

I've seen the same sort of thing going on. People are even trying to make the argument that they don't need a trail pass. It's pretty sad.

I was going slow but if I had not it would have been bad.?? I politely told them they are idiots and need too get off the ski-do trail immediately and get there dogs on a leash.

Just yesterday the wife and I were riding along, came up over a hill and there was a group of about eight people hiking on the trail. There was a large poodle dog with them. I slowed down to a crawl, the people were on both sides of the trail and just as I got near the dog it jumped out into the middle of the trail after a stick or a pinecone it saw. I darn near clipped the stupid thing with my ski. I guess people are looking for anything to do, I’ve never seen such a large group just hiking on a random snowmobile trail.

Most people have no clue how dangerous it is to be hiking on a snowmobile trail!

on multi use trails closer to town that's always a tough go. The no leash would be the issue or saving grace should one ever be clipped, as it would obviously try to be labeled as the sleds fault.

I have a hard time telling people on out of town, or remote trails they're idiots as you never know if its a land owner out for a stroll.

A few facts to let you know how and why I reacted the way I did. This is not near a town. It’s in the country and these people are from an estate subdivision they stick out in the middle of no were. I know the owner of the land I was on and he’s not happy about all the people walking on it like they own it. If I ever come across people walking on trails and I don’t know who owns the land I usually just wave and pass by. Not my job too police who’s on the trails. But if your on land that I know your not supposed to be on I feel it’s my job too help people know right from wrong.
