How are these lakes shaping up? Are they frozen yet?

Can't say for those ones but in the Muskoka area most lakes are semi frozen. Lots of slush and open areas.

I won't be going on any unless the trail is staked. Too many variables with ice.

I did see lots of people ice fishing on various lakes. But again I presume the are locals that know the lake.

Halliburton Forest could probably tell you for sure.

I hope I'm wrong on this but i wouldn't be surprise if this year is really bad for people going through the ice.

 

It has been so mild down in southern Ontario and everybody is anxious to get out there.

little kennisis is still open in parts, i imagine redstone would be too
