Carb started overflowing one day so i bought a rebuild kit and cleaned it because i thought the needle valve wasn’t seating, it didn’t work. The floats are fine and I tried adjusting the float arm multiple times with little to no result. Someone suggested the fuel pump diaphragm needs to be replaced because maybe the diaphragm is worn and pumping to much gas and overpressuring the needle valve, overflowing the carb. Sled will run fine idle for one to two minutes and then will overflow. Any Ideas?

If the float height is set correct and the needle and seat is the same size as the old one I would try cleaning the old needle and seat and try it again and see if that makes a difference. This happened to me on a bike carb and the old seat worked better than the rebuild kit parts. What gives? You would think the new parts should work.
