Hi all, I kissed a tree and bent top a arm.

I bought new A arm

The "front" bushing mount location of that A arm (where A arm connects to sled with bolt) is bent alittle- and new A arm wont fit in now.

QUESTION: can i drill out the rivets and take the BLACK angle bracket off and straighten and just REBOLT (not rivet (dont have that big of a rivet tool) the black angle piece back in??

I tried to bend it into submission and im making it worse.

Any thoughts??? THANKS!!

Thats what i would do, before replacing (drill out rivets, straighten, bolt up), more than likely have to replace black bracket, but may line up after the fact

I'm working on my sled now, my issues were much worse however some advise I got along the way was if you're going to bolt use the red loctite, you don't want that "edit for bad language" coming apart! When it's off, clamping in the vise and using a hammer and straight screw driver will work wonders, and you have the pattern to follow on the other side for angles, good luck my friend!

Check local area for someone parting sleds.  They probably want to sell you the entire module but worth a try?

If you would like to rivet, Harbor Freight has some bigger rivet guns pretty cheap. Mine works good and a friend bought a pneumatic one there and he loves it.
