Out of Markdale sat. Partners backed out, lone wolfed it. Talked to sledders at the drop from 15ft away. Stayed well off trail when stopping for snacks . Exposed to no one and vice versa. Trails were good , roads had snow. Scraped a few rocks icy corners. A lot of tight bush trails on the one loop, stayed tight right on blind corners which save my butt a few times.attachicon.gifIMG_20210123_1358157.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_20210123_1358157.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_20210123_1358157.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_20210123_1239553.jpgattachicon.gifIMG_20210123_1022200.jpg

If I only would have known! Everyone backed out on me also!

First covid, then stay at home orders and closed trails..... and now this !

Is there anyone that lives in the Wiarton area and could pay a visit to a local resident "Willie" ?
He was in the news today and didn't seem well.
Could someone stop by and see "that he is taken care of" ?
This is at least three years in a row. Why chance another?
Enough is enough !

Just watched the 6 o'clock news and all they showed were the folks up there throwing a white hat up in the air.....is Willie now a 'hat'????

Or re-purposed to be a hat for the politically correct crowd.

This was 99 when we went to wake up Willie and found there was not much left had to use a stuffed stand in. That's me in the middle. This on front pages of papers across the country and in Mcleans.

You look much younger there Doug.
Hardly recognize you.

I don't remember that happening but do remember that was a good winter !

Curious if anybody has ridden the B trail between Haliburton and Whitney?

Trails are really starting to shape up finally. Been years since they’ve been this good. Wish they would put intersection numbers on the map would help greatly in figuring out where you are or want to be

Anyone know if the stretch of B trail south of Dorset is red because of the medical districts or another reason ?
It's not crossing a blue line but is close to one.
