I see a few trails opened up again this morning and hoping to see more of that.
Also wondering about Kearney - Burk's Falls area that looks like they got a bit out of these squalls as well.

No new snow in Kearney/Burks falls. And our trails are closed as of midnight tonight.
Can't beat fun for a good time!

Had planned a run to Kearney tomorrow not realizing that would also be in the lockdown.

Been a while since i have been down there but i think there is a parking area on the north side of hwy 26 and Bayfield street and the trail runs right beside it, Check the trail guide and zoom in and you will see the spot, maybe someone else can confirm the area is for sure a good parking spot Its the B103C, Hopefully someone from Midhurst of Barrie will chime in on this.

It appears there is a parking lot where you mentioned also, but it's not officially marked on the map.
Thanks for your input though.
Will find a way to make the best of it and get some miles on before who knows what else happens.

Anyone know how the rail line is right now from lindsay to haliburton
I’m going to run fenelon falls to Hali and area on Friday. They are due for some snow tonight and tmr night so that should help.
Last I heard was that from Lindsay to Fenelon it should be closed. Pure ice and dirt. But that may of changed.
Anybody else?

Mitchell to Brodhagen to Seaforth was pretty decent yesterday. Tons of traffic!
agreed, really quite good. Tons of snow in the fields, the rail lines and winter roads are a little thin, but not bad. We parked in Kirkton, rode through Mitchell, up to Blyth and back around. I've never seen so many sleds in that area before, however, everyone was really good. Lots of room out there for all.

Out of Markdale sat. Partners backed out, lone wolfed it. Talked to sledders at the drop from 15ft away. Stayed well off trail when stopping for snacks . Exposed to no one and vice versa. Trails were good , roads had snow. Scraped a few rocks icy corners. A lot of tight bush trails on the one loop, stayed tight right on blind corners which save my butt a few times.
