Not worth it.

That sucks. Could you elaborate on your ride and where you went / trail conditions.

Where do you drop in Ayton ?
I've driven through several times but never paid attention regarding trails because it wasn't winter.
I was thinking of dropping in Mount Forest Friday but not sure if it's worth it now.

friend of mine is planing to drop in ayton Friday. He says you can park at the arena I geuss and hop on the trail there. That’s what we where thinking of doing but now hearing there may be more mud maybe waiting might be the better option

Left Mount Forest early morning. Went up B111. Did loop north of Durham and then back down west side back to Mount Forest. The fields varied from being nice to being rough with dirt showing. Most of the roads had just enough snow/ice to run. Bushes had a lot of water/mud holes. Back to trailer by 2. Trails were starting to get busier in the afternoon. No plans to go back till we get some more snow.

So this weekends still a hit or miss. Someplace are ok nothing great unless you go to like mattawa or something. South ofnthe Park is still shaping up but needs some work and snow. Would that sum things up?

I was up there to, most roads won't be passable by the weekend. There was a big difference from Thursday morning to 4pm that day. It was sunny Thursday & the same for Friday ,  most of the road will down to bare gravel or asphalt. The bush running is very poor as well with some DEEP water holes.

Went haliburton to harcourt today. Considering they were posted yellow, trails were pretty awesome in the morning. Lil beat down on way back. But nothing to complain about. Beats sitting at home.

Rode mt forest and Durham, lots of sleds out, trails mostly pretty beat and mud holes, better than sitting at home if not trailering too far.

That’s my growing 13 year old son. I bought it a little large so I would at least get a couple of seasons out of it! With his size currently - finds it more comfortable outside than in - I’m not going to question/complain as long as he is wearing it!

Well props to you for getting him to wear it. I wear one and make my kids wear them as well they're a little smaller though so they wear Motocross ones.
