My dealer is saying it's supposed to ship Dec. 15th.
I'm thinking of plan B at this point.

That's a tuff one! The Polaris snow check is not looking great as well. Unless you want the Polaris 800....they have those. I also do not think the used market is very good, I would wait for the doo....I know that date sucks but the other options are not great.
I lucked out , I took delivery of my 2021 last month but all my buddies that I ride with are in the same boat as you.

I've been down the same rabbit hole man, the other day I caught myself looking at launch edition VR1's at the local dealer. I have a rene xrs on the way and I haven't gotten anything firm yet...the sales people at my dealer are absolute saints as i've been hounding them weekly. Riverrat is right, it's going to be worth the wait!

Ive seen very few Lava/TI xrs 850's, and even fewer with no adjustment package and/or standard gauge cluster. FWIW as of 2 weeks ago mine was still showing november but who knows.
I can ride my vintage iron for a week or two early on in the season, but it kidna stinks to be paying for a toy that you can only use a few months of the year, if you're getting it after there is ridable snow on the ground. Not talking trail opening day, but once theres snow if its not here its a stinger.

Sold my 17 in 2hrs after I posted it thinking delivery was going to accelerate. Dealer said 2 more weeks. We will see. Also need the weather to change significantly and ensure we have lodging available. Friends waiting as well.

The amount of us waiting at this point concerns me. Plus dealers aren't getting many floor models. If it's not here by xmas I'm out..I'll use my backup sled..
Agreed. No backup here.

I'm in the same boat. Traded my 20 XRS Gade last spring, it is sold. Telling me November delivery. Technically not late yet, but I would like to get all my accessories on it before I'm ready to ride. I did get a spring ordered sled on Dec 23 a few years ago. Lucky we didn't have snow before then that year, but thats too late to get a spring order. I will always ask for early delivery from now on.
When it freezes in Hell I'll snowmobile there too.

I don't even have a contract, all I have is a couple emails.
I guess I'll see how good my dealer really is 😁

Yeah still waiting on my 850 Gade XRS with no QA, Upgraded gauge and a 1.5IR. I emailed BRP & called BRP last week inquiring about the details on my order. BRP looked up my sled and my dealer and assured me the delivery was set for November. Well today is the 24th and I know this year has been a "F-----" up year, and then you have thanks giving this Thursday too, I am not feeling all warm and fuzzy about a November delivery. I sold my back up 17 SW sled, so yeah I am setting here with just the wife's 17 gade. Don't see me riding double with her. lol
So then that brings in the question of when is "To late, or To long to wait, for a Spring order Snow Check sled?" Yeah Yeah I know I can't ride right now here in Michigan, but I really like to go over my sleds before the season starts and familiarize myself with everything I can on the sled. Being that I personally have never put time on a Doo, other than occasionally jumping on the wife's sled, I have been on Yami since the 4 strokes came out. This year I figured I would bite the bullet and go back to 2 stroke and get ax XRS similar to the wife's sled. Then did the one thing the wife asked me not to do and sold my 17 SW. She tried to convince me that the SW would be a great sled to keep in the garage for anyone to be able to ride with us if they needed a sled. Uh, my thought was that is one hell of a spare sled to just set and then to offer up to anyone needing a sled to ride. So yup sold it for ten K, and felt good about it then. NOW not so much, can't tell the wife that though!!
