Hello all,
It seems that skidoo makes 2 versions of their ice scratchers. One is called the rail style and the other is the tunnel style. I have a 2015 Renegade 600 Sport Carb. It should be a Rev XP chassis. But on the skidoo site, the way I read the description it seems these fit the xp Summit. Or is there a missing comma and they fit the xp, summit? Price is the same but most seem to like this style of scratcher.

I have the rail scratchers on my 850, but the only place I could find to install them on my wives 600 Sport was ice scratchers that go on the front bottom shock bolt.

I modified rail scratchers to work on my 2016 FreeRide 137”, which required removal of two of the outer front idlers, and a slight modification to the rail. Looks like they belong there, and they worked great.

I was reading in snowtech the article on renegade 600 and the mentioned they like tunnel mounted ones as cause less damage. I have no experience with either

I don’t recall that article. I really like SnowTech; it’s my favorite out of the magazines. I’m not sure what damage they were speaking of.

The tunnel mounted skidoo scratchers with replaceable tips are friggin awesome. I had them on my renegade X 600, have them on my wife's 600 renegade sport, and I have them on my Polaris XC 600 1 37. You can back up with them on and they work awesome.

Sounds like I should pay the little bit more and get the tunnel mounted ones.

I have the tunnel mounted with the replaceable tips, they work well in my opinion.

I've had the tunnel mounted scratchers for 4 years they're the ones without the replaceable tips. They work good but not great. Not great for lubricating the front of the skid. For that I have homemade ski scratchers. If I were to buy the tunnel Mount definitely get the ones with the replaceable tips to throw up more snow.
