With the XP, XS, etc. You had to burp the tank when filling. What about the G4?

I don’t believe it helps. Maybe a slight bit if the sled is pointed slightly downhill or the rear suspension sits unusually high. Definitely nothing like the rev or so. Also squeezing every drop of fuel possible into the tank can make it push out the vent when heat from the engine bay and heat exchanger expands the fuel.

I always burped my XP/XS/XR sleds, on the G4 there is so little to be gained I never bother any more.

The XP was the most fun sled ever made - but I liked my XR more. The 850 takes it to a whole different level.

No Need to Freeze-buy a set of these! http://www.coldguards.com/

When I saw the title I thought it was going to be about the coolant system which i always burp on my new sleds and just did my 2020.5.

Gas tank on G4's as most have said not much to gain so I never do.

not to change the subject, but what is the deal with coolant level on the 850 G4. always treated my 800 rev xp's as self leveling. just fill the coolant bottle to the top, run it, and the cold level would be perfect after cooling. Do the same with the 850 and the bottle looks almost empty after cooling ? Actually argued with my dealer because they refused to give me a little bottle of premix to top it off. told me that's just the way they are. anybody else notice ? Thanks

As long as your sled isn't overheating and you can see " some " coolant in the bottle I wouldn't worry too much about it. The coolant has always been below the cold mark on my G4. Maybe the mark on the bottle is off? If you put in more it will probably just purge it out of the overflow.

Don’t if you run a turbo. My dads burnt up with spilled gas.
