Sounds and smokes like old tech. And it’s nice that it comes with some storage but you gotta remove the seat to get to it?

Break in mode.....smokes more. Seat came off pretty easily if you ask me, take the blinders off.

Oh and real headlights that aren't a $400 accessory.

The 800 CFI I took for a demo ride did the same thing.

Can’t argue with you there. Doo should be ashamed of the stock G4 lighting.

Isn't the bar pad on some of the doos an accessory as well?

I have one coming. Looking forward to it. The only thing I don't like on paper is the 1" lower seat height from the Axys. Should rail corners better, but sitting to standing could be just a bit harder.

The seating position is one thing that l felt was way better on the XC that l rode, it was perfect for me. Given that the seat was up there pretty high, l'm thinking 1" lower on the Matryx won't be an issue. I sat on one this Fall and l didn't notice the seat feeling too low.

Let us know how how you like your Polaris after you get a few miles on it.

I think its a nice sled. We just got our first one in. Hopefully the 650 is a good engine.

I’ve had brand new 3 etec sleds and they’ve never smoked this bad in break in mode or ever. Every other brand smokes like of a son of a gun break in or broken in.

Neat looking sled, and competition is good for everyone.

Personally can’t stand the fit and finish on Cat or Polaris to justify dropping 14-15k on one every other year. I’ll keep my Ski-Doo, but as long as we’re all riding and happy with our own equipment/purchases that’s all that matters.

That sled would be my 2nd choice 100% for sure when Doo stops making sleds. More importantly, I have a 20 year relationship with my Doo dealer and that is worth more than a $15,000 snowmobile.

I don't see a problem with too much oil during break in. Its getting extra oil from the pump and for all we know a quart in the 10L or less of gas that the dealer put in it.

Agree on the quoted text.

My 650 was suppose to ship out today, can't wait to get a Polaris back in my garage as I've missed the fun factor the last two seasons.  It's going to be a fun winter on the Matryx!
