Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what to use to protect the garage floor from studs and carbides?

You may want to use a dolly set something like this so your sled is off the garage floor all the time or on a lift with wheels.

I prefer a lift with wheels but the set below will do the job as well.

X2. I use a set of dolly wheels and a sled hoist/dolly. I was given some old conveyor belt and lay two full length strips (3 ft wide) for the carbides.

Stall Mats Tractor Supply 4x6x3/4". Heavy duty. We drive right in and out with studs & carbides. Also have an EZ move to jockey things around & bought the bigger tire kit to go off cement. It all breaks down for storage takes up minimal space.

Have a set up almost exactly like this by the rear door of my shed, only just for two sleds side by side. Works fantastically, highly recommended.
