Any recommendations for a route to the Quebec trail system.  I would like to do an extended trip to Quebec.  My experience is years of riding the Northern Loop in Ontario and a Gaspe' trip last year.  I will have a number of weeks available this winter and am contemplating an extended trip.  Thanks

My favorite place to cross over is new liskeard. Stage in new liskeard and u can cross over on lake temiskaming directly onto quebec trails. From there u could go north to rouyn or wherever u want

It all depends how deep into Quebec you want to go.

I've ridden Temiscaming, Ville Marie, Rouyn-Noranda, Val-d'Or, Matagami and Lebel-sur-Quevillon. If you take a look at the snowmobile map and any of those areas interest you I can give recommendations.  If you go further East I can't help until you get to the Saugenay area.

Don't count on the borders being opened.

I've got a month of time to dedicate to the trip.  Thinking about a trip to Gaspe and back.

If it isn't open I'll ride from my place to Keweenaw to Wisconsin and back.  Not as adventurous but it will have to do.

There is a ferry from Baie-Comeau to Matane.  Saugenay is really nice and you could get across after and take the ferry.  Do Gaspe as well.

I've taken the ferry across the Saugenay.  But not across the St. Lawrence.

The interactive FCMQ map has me crossing from Baie-Comeau to Matane.  My only experience snowmobiling in Quebec is a trip around the perimeter of Gaspe.

I would suggest going further east on trail 3 & cross from Godbout. The trail closer to Godbout is very fun to ride.

I went up and around Lac Saint Jean then crossed the Saugenay by ferry near the St Lawrence and headed back past Quebec City towards Trois Rivière where I staged.
