You thought snowmobile prices where expensive in 2020?

My chemo pills (Immunotherapy) to treat my melanoma are over $27,500 for a 30 day supply.

Yes, insurance covers it.  And if the insurance were to drop me for any reason (don't no why they would?), the Parma company who manufacture it would pick up the tab with a $50 co-pay per month.

I ran an Immunotherapy Manufacturing facility back in the day. We sent 1.5 Billion$ US before we got and FDA approval, and it was a Fast Tracked  Treatment for Leukemia. The up front costs are crazy, equipment all Stainless, People, paper work to check paper work and double check everything three times. We had SOP's on how to walk in the facility, if not followed a Deviation was opened to investigate. Just nutty stuff.

It was well worth it though when i left we had a tote board and it showed we save 6 Kinder garden Classes  of children and cured them of ALL Leukemia.

Not saying that Pharma isn't looking to recoup but there is a Middle Man in sales chain that takes a BIG piece too.

^^^ Yup. It takes BIG $$$ to bring a new drug to market. Thankfully innovation keeps pushing for newer, better, more life saving therapies, but that doesn't happen for free.

Also, thank God for insurance! My open heart was over $100k, our out-of-pocket was pretty reasonable.

The XP was the most fun sled ever made - but I liked my XR more. The 850 takes it to a whole different level.

No Need to Freeze-buy a set of these! http://www.coldguards.com/
