Can we get a factory rear 4th wheel kit for the Gen 4 like we could for the XS and XP's?  Been browsing the accesories catalogue and can't find anything.  Always figure the more wheels the better!

Tks

Most of the riders in our area seem to only run the over sized 2 wheel kit (all mountain riding) , but these guys sell a 4 wheel kit for the REV G4.

Good looking kit but a little pricey.  Just want to add a 4th wheel for trail and lake.

Can't use a kit from an XS as I already own that!  This will be my first G4

Can someone post a picture or link to another post (if there is one) of where the extra wheel is typically installed?

Thanks

No photo off hand... However it would go in the rear axle inside the left side rail. Ski Doo puts 3 here on the X model (2 outside, 1 inside). The 4th would be opposite of the 1 inside running the inside luge path. It helps to balance the load of the track and provide some extra insurance.

Just adding weight and drag.. 3 are plenty, but whatever floats one's boat or sled I guess!

We all have different background, wants and needs which is a good thing!

Tried to post pictures of 3 vs 4 wheel axles and wheels, that I lifted from ebay, but it would not let me do so.. didn't like the extensions, but if you go to ebay and search Ski-Doo rear axles and wheels, you will get pictures of all the set ups doo makes..     https://www.ebay.com...wheels&_sacat=0

I did make up spacers that moved the center wheel to the center of the track so no studs would ride over it.  Of course went to a 25 mm axle  and bigger wheels and bearings at the time.

Is the kit the same between an XS and a G4?

The XS axle is the same wheel is 180 as well so should fit no problem.

I have used the kit from my XS in my last 2 G4s no problem. The R-motion hasnt changed much other than in calibration until 2021

Do you need to buy the heavy duty axel kit from hygear 4 wheel kit as well? Didn't look like it would work without it...

It would appear to be necessary
