Is the extra money for the 600 ace expedition worth it? The 550's seem to be selling for alot cheaper here and these things are all expensive but would like to know if it's worth spending the extra money to get a 600?

Most will say yes, the ACE is worth it.

The 600 ACE is a 4 stroke, low maintenance and high fuel economy.   Another thing not really talked about much is that it is much quieter.

That being said, I'm actually surprised to see the number of 600 ACE's showing up on the used market.   I think most are people upgrading to the 900.

Absolutely it is. I had the 550 Expedition first and then the 600 Ace. I wouldn’t even consider the 550 unless your only puttering around the yard. I sold my 600 with 17,000 trouble free kms only to get a 900. The 550 uses double the fuel, is loud and mine seized the engine at 3000kms although most of them are decently reliable.

paid too much but picked up a 2015 tundra 600 ace yesterday. Anything I should upgrade? Not sure about maintenance also since it didn't come with a manual.

I'd change all oils, blow out clutches and go through skid.

Thanks for the help fellas! It has 1500km's on it and I don't know how to post pics on here?

The skis are the widest things i've ever seen, do they come stock with giant skis? And what's with the rear skid that you can tilt up so the track is angled up or flat? Is the angle up feature for reversing?

yes, the angle up is for reversing.    I'm also told it gives that short track feeling when on hard pack, but honestly, I doubt anyone can tell a difference.

The wide skis may or may not be stock.  They did sell some with the wide 9-10" skis.
