Need to make an offering to the snow gods. A snow shovel thrown into the bonfire will do fine.

Sounds good to me. I am tired of the heat already. And there are two more months of it!

You'll wish you had that shovel back when the snow starts to pile up.

Still spritzing a little snow here and there here every now and then, albeit not enough to ride... but that along with a 41 degree high let's ya know your living on the continental divide, and we'll be 1st in line to ride  :revinmotion:

Buddy at the fire is in a moto-x circuit in the States.  Says the campers [moto-x parents] do beer bottle flares with beer bottles to even wine bottles in the evenings at bonfires.

Fill a beer bottle with gas to the bottom of the neck.

Tap a hole in the bottle cap with a nail, (make a small hole around 1mm)

Cap the bottle

Place bottle with tongs in the coals, leaning against some wood, leaning away to point the flame in a safe area

The bottle sitting on the coals starts the fuel to boil and vaporize.

As the vapour spews out the hole, the flames licking around the outside of the bottle light the vapour.

Buddy said, it can't explode because its venting to atmosphere, the fuel is not under compression.

Holy cow, I ran, we ran when he put it in the fire "*%@ ARE YOU DOING?"....hes just giggling, "watch this".  His wife is sitting there saying "dont worry, this happens all the time at the races"   All of us are back 15 feet and his wife is sitting in the chair giggling at us.

Flare is going and I can see the gas boiling and the vapour is acting like a flame thrower.  Rod's saying, "its the same principle as a propane torch, dont worry"?

So after the 4th one, i sat in my chair and watched the 5th one.

Hahaha....the neighbors were peeking through the trees, wondering what the huge light was.

Hmmph, that's not for me.  Scares the pissouta me kinda, neat, but scary.
