I just picked up an 09 1200 GTX with 7309 miles. I owned an 09 ren 1200 a 12 1200 mxzx and a 19 ren turbo xrs.

Buying a house forced sale of others but just traded for this. I also pull my kids with my sleds in a equinox snowcoach and on back. So I'm just wondering if I should keep this and if so what should I change or update? I know there's a oil/collant thing that should be updated (cant remember the exact details but I did the mod on my other 09) then theres the PB 80 I will need. Track is studded and looks very nice. I do think it needs the skis put on like my 12 1200 had with dual carbides. I'll also have to add a hitch.

assuming it is the lower end gtx, start looking for better shocks.  and see if you can find some 6.9 pilot skis.

What about the electronic reverse it has. Is that something that has issues?

Are these items you're talking about giving you problems ?  If not I would just run it.  The 1200's are bullet proof.

Keep everything lubed, bogey wheels checked oil and fllters.

6.9 or DS-2 skis would be an upgrade.

Hitch would be nice or just put a heavy duty bumper on to pull the kids.  They'll end up wanting their own sleds anyways when they get older.

Heck this one could be kept long enough to become theirs!   ;)

something with the oil pump or coolant gears. Wait till your clutch falls apart to get the PB80.

6.9s would be good skis. plenty of other good skis out there as well.

go straight back from the fuel cap till your hand is under the front of the seat. You will feel a plastic tongue. pull upwards on the plastic tongue and slide the seat forward

Slide the seat to the rear of the sled. NOT the front to remove it
