I know there are other threads on this but many I found are a couple years old and since what is available is probably constantly changing I thought I would ask again.  I spring ordered my first G4 chassis (850 Renegade X) and am starting to buy all the accessories and goodies that I am going to want which is kinda fun.  What do you guys recommend for an LED headlight upgrade?  I would like a plug and play solution that doesn't require cutting or modifying anything if available.

Thanks

Dan

This is what I put in my 900T. I like them and also I have the Doo LED lights that mount on the side also that work only on High Beam.

I also have the beamtech bulbs. They are plug and play. I am very happy with them and can't go wrong with the price.

Oh man not this again. It's been beaten to death 10 times over. Lots of choices, personal preference. Nothing has changed grab whatever you want and go. Actually the one constant is skidoo halogen lights are garbage. Whatever you get will be above and beyond what you currently have.

Sii Allphas, what ever the latest version is. They’re plug-n-play and they mimic the design of a halogen bulb.

No, the G4 headlights are garbage. The halogen bulbs worked just fine in the XP / XR reflector housing.

To the OP if you can afford it I would also add the Doo LED bar, it makes a big difference right in front of the sled. I’ll be adding the aux Doo LED high beams next.

BRP should be ashamed of themselves. The stock G4 lighting is terrible and instead of fixing the problem they just keep peddling their over priced LED accessories. Meanwhile Polaris is on their 2nd gen factory LED headlights. Even the 3rd / 4th place Yamacat offers factory LED lighting.

I said it before but I tried LEDs last season and although they look really cool they would not throw light down the trail or pierce any amount of snow dust. High output halogens or HID's is my choice. Your choice isn't wrong either

I installed the Beamtechs in my wifes sled and the Sii Alpha in mine. My opinion is the Alpha's aren't worth the extra dollars that I paid. The Alpha's did have a slightly better spread but were $200 more. Neither had good distance down the trail at night.

I ran Sii LED bulbs last year and really liked them, but the projection distance is not as good as I would have liked oh high beam. Do the aux high beam LEDs project quite a bit further? The price is outrageous, but do you feel it was worth the money?
