I don’t think so I think it’s ridiculous. Even though he drives a Chevy. All this political correctness B.S has gotten out of hand!

I do.

Just like any of the rest of us, you mess up at work gotta pay the consequences.    It was racist in a very public way.   Just not gonna fly in today's day and age.  He has to know that, and has to know that is a line he cannot cross.  He did, and it is on him now.

Was he right to say it? No. Is it right for his career to be ruined? Again, no. He made a mistake, he owned up to it and apologized. Move on. If it happens again, that's a different story. Do the sensitivity training and let it die. Unfortunately for him he screwed up at a time where nothing else is going on sports wise. So now it's the biggest thing in the sports world.

If he was calling a black person the N word then his sponsors should permanently drop him. If he called a white person or no one in particular the N word he should get some crap but will eventually get back what he had. Whether his existing sponsors are comfortable with that is up to them.

if he was Black, it wouldn't even be discussed, so discussing it because he is white, isn't right.

I know a white guy who lives in a big city. A large number of his friends are black. I am as white as white gets. 50% of the time he answers the phone he says "what's up N-word?" To him its a sincere term of endearment for his friends.

I've know this guy since he was a kid, I can say there isn't even a hint of racism in him. Its all about context.

Then again I've never been on the other side of it, so who am I to say anything on it.

The XP was the most fun sled ever made - but I liked my XR more. The 850 takes it to a whole different level.

Hilarious! What a tool!

Lose his livelihood? Cry me a river.........he could never drive again and be better off than most, if not all of us on DT, by ALOT........not like he mowed grass to pay for his bike as a kid!!......all of them are no better than you or I, they just had extremely  rich parents / families that paid for thes kids to drive karts, cars, trucks, etc from an early age.

Do folks think they had a driving contest at age 7 for everyone, and these clowns were the best so they are race car drivers now? LOL!!  :D

He (they all are)  way overpaid to be a public personality / spokesperson for alot of businesses, that think all of that sponsor money will make folks buy at their stores....and when that image is tarnished by a dumb moment by a supposed PROFESSIONAL spokeperson......... seeya! He can and will be replaced by many that will make darn sure they are polished and perfect all the time.

Truth be told, we all heard what he is REALLY like. When the camera / radio is on, he's an actor. He forgot he was being watched / listened to, and forgot to turn his fake-good guy switch on...... and got caught.
