I was looking at buying a can for my sled and one of my buddies said that I shouldn’t get a can for my sled because the SDI’s are very picky and I have the chance to ruin my motor. But when I was trying to find anyone with these issues nothing came up so I was wondering anybody else had knows about that or if anyone has had problems with an SDI after an installation of an exhaust?

Is there anything wrong with the muffler on it now?

I presume you are a trail rider since you didn’t post this in the mountain section.

Cans close trails.

Yes , changing your exhaust will burn down your motor on a SDI , They run lean with stock exhaust and will burn down with a can !

My son had a 2005 600sdi with a aftermarket pipe and CAN , has had a few burned pistons ! Even installed FUEL programmer after sled was slower than stock ! If you want it to last LEAVE IT STOCK !!!
