This machine has 1200 miles on it.  I had her pinned(in fairly loose stuff) for about 10 seconds at apprx 95 mph and all of the sudden the motor acted like I slowly let off the throttle(which I didn't).  It didn't sound like cutting cylinders/studdering from over revving and it didn't drop off throttle fast like it would if I let go of the thumb throttle.  After it did this, I let off throttle, cruised a half mile and pinned it again for 10 seconds or so, no issues.  Took it easy the rest of the trip and no issues... I rarely hammer down for extended periods anyways, but 10 seconds? come on...

Oh yeah, no lights on dash, temp 107 degrees F, all seemed well...

Any Thoughts as to what may have happened!!???  Thanks!

Sounds like rev limit, they act wired when the rev limit acts at speed. Probably got some snow in the cab and got the belt or clutch wet.

I doubt it was rev limiter. I feel like if it’s gonna bounce off the rev limiter it happens right when you first pin it, not after 10 seconds of WOT. At that point it should be shifted out and in OD. Keep riding it and see if it happens again. I usually don’t worry about any issue with my sleds unless I can duplicate the problem or it has happened more than a few times!!

I agree Ricedog, just getting ideas before the warranty runs out.

Mine was doing that, was a clogged fuel filter. I have about 4000mi now and one thing I noticed is bad gas will raise hell with it. The computer will not let it reach full RPM. Couple times fueled up at an "older" gas station, the kind with no credit card slot and off the beaten path and it would run like crap until filled up with the good stuff and then would run fine.

Mine did like OP and it was in certain condition that it would creep up and hit the limiter. 100% like OP all the time everytime

It also could have experienced a seizure. If possible to do, it would be nice (and wise) to do a compression check now.

Mine did the same thing going across a lake ridding at about 75 mph.....pinned it...went to 93 mph at 8100 rpm....wouldn't go any faster....rpm went down to 7000 rpm.....let off the throttle...pinned it again and it was like I didn't pin it....stood there at 7000. Cruised at half throttle for 10 seconds...pinned it again went to 8100 but I got scared it would burn down in the middle lake. Conditions were 27 deg sunny. Got back on the lake at dusk and it was cooler..I raced a 800 and a 850 both renegades ...boy is this 600r quick...I'm studded they aren't and I took it to 97 mph when they finally past me...no bog...but I didn't pin it for a long time....raced again with a rolling start at 25 mph....they caugh me at 86mph...no bog. I'm hoping someone can find out why it bogs....I hope we aren't huring this motor. I'm on number 4 clicker.620 miles on the sled

BobbyG,yes that's exactly what mine did. Sunny, 20 degrees F approx. Motor was not overheating... I'd like to hear something from skidoo on this. Think I'll take mine in to the shop and have diagnostic scan done. Readings on the scan were clean before that trip(as it was a mandatory scan for 2018.5 models). I haven't rode since my original post, so may be best to do it before accumulating more hours. I'll update this post with findings.

Sounds like maybe some bad fuel? I have had stored codes for muffler overheat, I think that perhaps there is a muffler heat issue, or a high octane requirement from a high state of tune. Any gas that’s isn’t 100% might be an issue. Not pretending I know, just thinking out loud.
