My 2010 Ski Doo Renegade X 600 etec will occasionally scroll a message on the digital gauge saying "LEARNING". Does this refer to the ECU making adjustments based on riding conditions? I have looked far and wide on the internet, and haven't been able to find anything.

Has anyone else seen this? I know it is not saying "LEANING", which was my first concern.

Doesn’t that mean the key you’re using is the Learning key, and limits the rpms?

I’m pretty sure my Can-Am said that when I used the grey (slow) key instead of the regular one.

The LEARNING does scroll across the display for the ACE Engines that have a Learning Key. I've Looked for a answer but to no luck. If it is frequent enough you could try switching gauges with a different sled with the same cluster and see if that fixes it. It might just be a bug in the cluster itself.

While riding in a hilly area with lots of snow, temps in the low 40's and misty conditions.....my wife's 2010 600 etec GSX, started to scroll "Learning...do not turn off". I figured it was making an adjust to the computer, never had an issue with it. We watched it scroll for a while and then rode on.

My wifes 2014 900 Ace says that with the black teather on startup. She got a green one also when purchased and that one is the kids/reduced rpm teather. Its done it since new and with 2300 miles on it and never had a known issue. If theres a gauge issue theres no running issues with hers.
