Did just over 40 miles about 3 weeks ago, missed the 1 week season last year, nice to drive less than a 1/2 to ride. Looks like 5 - 8 hours drive for the rest of the season.

2nd year in a row Harvard MA. trails open less then a week

Not worth paying the sales tax and registration fee for 40 miles of average or less than average riding

Don't feel too bad I think the same can be said for all of SE WI & northern IL!
I've wanted to hit the Western WI trails forever it seems & there just isn't snow these past few years.
I tell everyone that this has turned into a rich mans sport if you live where it's not a snow belt.
$30,000 -$50,000 Truck, $5,000-$15,000 Trailer, $100 a night Lodging and Fuel to chase snow is all very expensive. And notice how I don't even say $10,000+ snowmobile! Of course you can do it for less, but it gets to the point breakdowns aren't worth wrecking such an expensive trip.

Harvard MA? I grew up in this town. No idea it had snowmobile trails.
