Right now the sled weighs 8lbs less than a production 163 etec from 2016. I still have lithium battery to install so - another 10 pounds as far as power on my dyno last weekend made 185 hp and 142 footpounds of torque @ 12 psi of boost at 7400 rpm.

Yes I've been completely thru motor finished 1st build late March last year got 6 rides and snow disappeared
As far as starting with the kit again it would depend on flats or mountains? Flats yes mountains no
First kit took more oil to turbo than to crank caused oil starvation on engine new rods mains pistons and rings. Then when motor tore down replaced factory 12 to 1 pistons to 9.5 to 1 and new rings

Starting point 2016 expedition sport 900 ace.
Step one install of mcxpress 170 hp kit
Next was the install of ds 2 front end and fox floats.
Next the install of Tom's emotion rear kit and skidoo 163 rails and a peak 16x163x2.5 track
Next came the skidoo mtn seat with bag 8 inch riser and xm side panels,
Scs custom wrap and burley boards
Completed, things I tried along the way, aerocharger 53 mm turbo, removed intercooler re-routed charge tube, changed oil supply location for turbo and restricted oil supply. Moved oil return from bottom of engine to top of oil pan. Multiple dyno runs along the way lots of thoughts and ideas ran by riding group.
I would love to have your engine in my 2016 T3 174. Brp I want to buy a conversion kit to 900 ace 185hp! Pronto!
Nice work Turbo Mike. Engine weight compare whit 800 etec whit estart should be close?
By production numbers the 900 ace as compared to 800 etec are 17 to 22 lbs heavier 800 are pull starts ski doo battery is 13.5 lbs starter motor 4.2 so estart to e start only couple pounds heavier.
Just a teaser before Mike shows his beauty. I hope is okey. Clip from Finland belive its a Lynx boondocker whit 900 ace turbo. No info about how build this kit. Love the trippel sound.
No snow yet starting to get really anxious. I've got a tuning day setup with raze motorsports in a couple of weeks hoping to test out a complete new ecu, and get a map built.
We have in North Sweden on some places 60-70cm ++ (some claim 1m) thats a lot for our measurements. 30-50cm around my area and snowing now looking very promising!
