Finally got the garage back to working order. This is what it's looked like for the last few weeks :headbang.

20160524_090609_zps6uqpbxwl.jpg

But, this was the end result, plus a happy wife.

IMG_6297_zpseu884tg6.jpg

Also through together a bicycle rack for the three little Wyo's bikes that seem to end up wherever. Hopefully this will help keep some order in the garage as well.

20160527_141216_zpsduuffq5s.jpg

Added some rattle can and some left over splash guard I used on my two place this winter.

20160527_145042_zps4uxmkab8.jpg

Now, finally, some room to work!

20160528_162101_zpsdnx0i2wt.jpg

Got the red and black wires out of the connector on the bottom end thanks to BJ's tip, works super easy!

20160528_151026_zpssgn4hmtw.jpg

And lastly got the wiring harness swapped over. I had to extend the brake light wires as they had come unplugged at some point last season after extending from 154 to 162. Taped up the wires and put the Ptek tank on. I started to route the harness as far as what I could recall, I'll end up doing most of this once I have the motor rebuilt and will try to clean up as much of the wiring as possible and tuck it up and out of the way.

20160528_162043_zps6k3mwtj3.jpg

Next is to pop the primary off the XP and get the bottom end out of the chassis, then off the Slead Head Racing for John to work his magic!

I think between scooters, bikes, and trikes the boys have ten different choices on what to ride, it's a little bit out of control

Those razor scooters are the worst, as soon as my boys got to big for them I tossed them as quick as I could:-)

Ok need some help from people who have relocated switches on there 800R's. I've got another RSI switch I'm going to use as a reverse switch, and I'm not running head lights so that should help eliminate some of the rewiring. Basically I need to figure out which wires go to the hand warmer toggle switches and which wires are for reverse. If anyone could help point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!

Good point. I'm worried that the wire colors may be different however, since I'm going from XM wiring harness to XP, but still have the XM grips/reverse. Hopefully I'm wrong and can just match colors.

Not all harnesses are hooked up the same either..... I quit trying to read what everyone else did. Just got a meter and figured it out.... Especially for the Rev.... Heck the same harness wouldn't have half the same color wires from sled to sled.... BRP brilliant install teams

Made some more progress lately. We sold our house and moved into a place with a one stall garage, which would sound terrible to most but it forced me to get organized and has made it a lot easier to work on the sled again.

I picked up a set of Skinz Helium panels and a hood from Racin Station out of Driggs, ID, great guys to work with. I did some trimming and am pretty happy with the results.

20160818_184512_zpshdpatays.jpg

I also made a vent to help flow more air over the clutches.

20160817_195712_zpsnylbvrax.jpg

And the boys have made a new friend since we've moved in! Seems to be a very friendly and gentle guy to have around!

20160815_174954_zps5um9cfz6.jpg

Sounds like my motor is getting closer and should be ready soon, just in time too, I'm seeing pictures of snow today!
