Lol. Already tired of the can?

The DS2 ski is awful on packed snow. I highly highly highly recommend a set of 6" shaper bars. They are night and day better and make for a much better trail ski.

Get that front end narrowed. That thing looks wild that wide.

put just shy of 100 miles on today, first two were in the orchard at about 45-50 top speed, next 8 were on a railbed breaking trail, I turned around at 4 miles in and swapped back to the stock exhaust can... the header and the can are both super nice pieces from mbrp, but after 8 miles, for me, I wanted the quieter mod stock exhaust back on... for others, I am sure its about perfect... Definitely glad I gave it a shot anyway

I had such an enjoyable afternoon just putzing around, not in any hurry to be anywhere this late in the season.

Instead of going racing this weekend, I plan on trying to hit my goal of 5000 total miles for the season, I am about 200 shy of that right now, thought about swapping out gears tonight, but gonna hang out with my boys and watch a movie instead... Supposed to be in the 50's this weekend, so tomorrow might be it.....

narrow might be in the picture down the line... problem is, we really don't have any sidehilling around these parts

It's not even the sidehilling. It just makes the sled so much easier to throw around in any snow.

I feel a minor loss of balance with the narrower stance but it took me all of a day to feel fully comfortable with it. I don't even run a swaybar anymore either.

I really liked the way the 16' freeride 800 felt in the trails, so I get the narrow... right now, I am just giddy to be able to ride one last time!

just got back from 80 miler, about half of that was fresh unbroken trail with about a foot of snow... super glad I am getting a chance to rip this around for a few days before the snow is completely gone.....

It is only going to get better with the deeper lug track and gearing swap ...

Probably the slowest I have driven around in the last two days and having a blast doing it..............melting fast now.............. going to take my wife out for a sunset ride tonight, then probably put them away for the year.........awesome way to wrap it up

thanks, managed to get about 200 miles on with the last brief snow storm, It was definitely more enjoyable for me without the buzz can installed on the 900

can't get enough, zero base, but got 5-6" overnight to this morning, spun another 11 miles goofing around here..., got my chain and gears in a box out in the shop, (thanks ednpatty!) still looking for a track but may end up just ordering a new one,... If anyone has a like new 1.75", keep me in mind... Going to get everything scrubbed up and put away in the next week or so.. I will post a few more pics as the project keeps rolling along...... I want it ready to roll by end of summer.

have a great / healthy off season,,,, crf

nice build , I jest stumbled on it . I've been working on building a enduro900 into a Xrs enduro 900 this summer  ,, with the post forward , front clicker shocks , rear air ride , and seat upgrade with heat to boot ,, Is the header pipe a good investment and what can you tell me about this muffler mod from BRP , I would love to shave some weight from the front of this sled but keep it stealthy quiet ,,

I like the header, it made bolt on power for sure and is a nice piece, the BMP muffler mod is stealth, no weight savings, but, i have dropped 21 pounds off myself in the last year and should be down another 10 by snowtime so that will make up some of the front end of the sled....
