I am looking for a guide for the u.p. to take me around and give me some pointers.  Has anyone done a guided trip off trail up there? Looking for positive and negative input.

Oiler, we were in the UP two weeks ago and my family hired Joe Erickson and he was great, worked great with my boys and wife and we all learned a bunch and Joe knows where to find the untracked snow. He is very polite and loves to teach. PM me and I will get you his contact info.

Matt "Tinger" Tingstad.  Awesome guide.  Call Powder Hound lodge in Bessmer to make reservations.

Seems odd to me that a guide for the U.P. has a Illinois phone number.

If I was young enough to know how to use emojis , I would add the yellow face with a confused expression

So many ways to make money in this country.  Never would have thought.  Do they have packages to take you to the best bars?

No one ever ask to go to bars that I have been with but we did years ago to the Gay bar in Gay with  JD KSC tour deal 20 years ago.

The bar part was a joke.  Haven't been to gay bar in a long time.  Don't go out that way much,
