you should probably just wait until you get the sled and try it out yourself.
i would think it would work but i have no clue
I would wait, but need to know if I should sell it with my 2012 or keep for the XM...

Nope. The 17-year-old's been working since he was 12.

Interesting. I came off a Summit to a Pro and I LOVE the pro handlebars way better. I love the vertical steering post, the ergonomics of the pro tapers and the hooks on the end of the bars. It's like I told my dad, "if doo ever tops the Pro, I would only switch back over if I could install a vertical steering post and pro tapers."
To each his own I guess.

Have you ever driven a summit on the trail? What length of track are you thinking about? Have u taken the backcountry to the mountains?
My father runs a 2012 Summit X 146. If we need to take a trail to get to the snow he just puts his scratchers down and doesn't complain. My Pro isn't quite as smooth as the Summits on the trail and I'm always looking for some snow to cool the engine down. So you CAN run a Summit on the trail, but its not the greatest if you're putting 20 or 30+ miles on the trail for the day.
Last year my one friend owned a Backcountry 800 Powertek and took it to the mountains. He hated it. DETESTED it. He got stuck everywhere on and off trail and it made him furious.
