Definitely running to lean and hot, give it some more gas and check your carbrubbers.

Im not so sure Id be happy with those plugs, but others here will chime in..

I am told the plugs look good in that they are not burning lean but I am trying to understand why they look so different from one another. Pictures can be deceiving but the PTO side is the one with the lighter ground strap. This is also the one that has a little build-up on ceramic. Keep in mind I was premixing (break in period) my gas with these plugs. I put a new set in Sunday and run about 30 miles. The PTO side ground strap is still a little lighter in color. Other than that they are similar.

See attached pictures. I hope this helps. The plug with light colored ground strap is the PTO side.

I agree completely.^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
This is a great oil, I've noticed an improvement with my sleds using it.  I don't think that any snowmobile approved oil would/could cause a seizure.  Let alone Legend oil.  He needs to find the cause of the problem before you or he gets too uptight about it being an oil issue.

In regards to the design of ski doos motors is there any reason why one design would use more or less oil than another one. I realize this might be a silly question but I personally don't know. I am a little gun shy at this point.
