ya you have issues, i bought a all stock 04 800ho. with 2000 miles on it and pulls hard . so far it has beaten 3 different zr900's,mine pulls 7800rpms which is exactly what the service manual says it should

sounds like clutching issues, try pulling both clutches and take apart for cleaning and inspection. my .02

ok so guess i should of done a search 1st....i guess alot do it, some say it went away w/a clutch kit. ok i guess just this is my first doo in a long long time and my arctic tractors were always quiet.

thanks....before i do anything i think i am going to take the pipe off and see if i can have it repaired and just buy new heat shields.

ok tomarrow i'll pull the pipe and heat shield 1st before ordering a pipe....but it looks pretty banged up to me.
