Ok so i was looking over my machine today and thinking about starting it up and moving it to the garage to do an oil change. On my older fan machines I would always pull the airbox and clean it real well from all the dust. I imagine I should do the same with this machine? Anyone taken the airbox off yet, if so how easy/hard is it? I parked it a little tight to the side of the shed so I will have to move it to get in and get a better look at what I need to do to remove it.
But was just curious if anyone has done it.

expo sport is not PERFECT anymore
25 March 2012 - 11:00 AM
well This weekend i broke my shock under the machine, sure made for a rough ride home. What is a good shock to buy to replace that crappy shock skidoo put in? Probably best to go with a gas shock, they are the best right?
expo sport ACE what if's

Ok, this expo sport is my first 4 stroke snowmachine. I got the thinking the other day when i about tipped it over side-hilling through tussocks, is tipping them over bad for them? Two strokes, tip over, roll, no problem, but lets say I need to work on the suspensionis there a preffered side to tip the ACE too? Does it matter? Can i just throw it on its side whenver and not worry about it?
expo sport lug studs
23 January 2012 - 11:18 PM
I put in the lug studs last week and I have 200 miles on them, speeds up to 60, pulling a sled, icy conditions at times, spinning the track on portages, and did not loose a single one. I think they will be perfect, and made a HUGE difference in control and turning.
I went with the gripmaster RTS carbide track and tire studs, the longest ones and they seem very heavy duty, i don't foresee having a problem with them at all.

ACE and 36 below
31 December 2011 - 03:31 PM
Well I found the ACE limit on starting ability, or at least on mine today. 36 below at my house, and it turned over but won't start... Guess that means it is too cold, i wanted to find out what the limits were, the other day at about 30 below it started ok, but not today.
