Well. I used to edit short videos for racing, riding and the other random stuff I get up to... But, my current laptop is just not cutting it, and is now unable to run the program that I want to run (adobe premier elements 10).
So, I'm on the hunt and I've come down to two comps to use. Due to my lifestyle, it NEEDS to be a laptop as I'm gone from home at least 50% of the time and would like to edit videos on my down time.
So, here is where I'm at:

or
http://www.futuresho...b/10209635.aspx
The pricier one has a faster (but smaller) hard drive, but the cheaper one has the marginally faster processor.
Plus the pricier one has the blue ray capable dvd drive.
I'm going to get an external HD to keep all of my media on just to keep the computer cluster free.
I'll likely be using my T1i, a gopro HD, a gopro HD3 and a sony camcorder for my videos (but that is subject to change) for video.
Also, I will eventually be wanting to start making my own music, but that is a whole other issue and I'm sure this computer is capable once I get the extra stuff.

Changing up my 04 800x mxz to be able to play in the deeper stuff. Trail running has gotten boring unless I'm going way too fast, and with the yahoos that end up on the trails, its just not safe.
So, I'm planning on a 1.75 back country track, studs (not sure how many to go with) and I also want shorter gearing... Im more interested in getting out of the hole harder than I am at being the first guy across the lake.
I had track ratcheting last year once I got my suspension dialed and hooking up, so Im going to throw in some extrovert drivers.
So, to ensure that I have the clearance for the track and studs, plus to lower my gearing, I will be going down to a 9 tooth driver. So I need extroverts for the center drivers and the side ones are just regular old 9 tooth outside drivers correct?
Curious if the sled would still have the clearance with 10 tooth drivers? pretty sure it would.
The chancase internals are good to go, so that wasn't where my ratcheting was. I have had chain skip in an old indy 650 and it's a totally different feeling.
will I end up playing with my clutches again? I have a DJ kit in it now,
I'll still be on the trails, just not as much. It will be either on the way to places to play or for the 3 or so annual runs I do with friends

Safety warning:RAP tour and Petawawa area
19 October 2012 - 04:44 PM
Just a heads up for those of you doing the RAP tour or those of us that are local and use the trail along Petawawa Blvd (between Pembroke and Petawawa).
The rail bed has had the rails removed, and it will be tempting to climb up to the rail bed for a bit of fun. However, the rails have not been removed at the road and lane way crossings and stick out about 50' or so from the crossings just waiting for someone to nail them. Could cause some serious damage to your sled or yourself.
Just trying to give you guys a heads up!

What parts to order?
11 October 2012 - 02:41 PM
Last season noticed my skis "loose" in relation to the a-arms.
Basically just want to throw in some new parts like ball joints, tie rod ends etc to firm it back up. I'm pretty sure my 04 has never had it rebuilt, so figure I'll do that this fall. Also need a new upper left A-arm. noticed it has a bend in it, pretty sure I remember when I could have done it.
So, what parts do you guys normally order when you do this job? Also, I recall a dootalker selling their own copper bushings?
