Thanks I was wondering about the DS skis. Is that SLT or SLPI ride the '11 Summit in the narrow stance with no swaybar and can rally through the coreners as fast as I dare. IMO the stance isn't the limiting factor as much as the rider and skis.....those DS skis are absolute JUNK!! Get rid of those and put SLT's on, huge improvement in all aspects.

It sounds like I should go with the narrow front end. They have the S-36 upgrade now (PN 860200557) $629 for a complete set including shocks. I will also look into the skid update I think Toms had a decent kit.
DC what was that steering post update, is that like the XRS/Freeride type?

I am thinking of putting the narrow kit on my 09 146. Could i get some feedback as to how much differance it makes. I am more cocerned with the boonedocking ability than the trail(I have a renegade also).I have the 154 summit with the narrow stance and 2 other guys in our group have 163's, we all agree they are fairly darty on the trail and like to push into corners sometimes. They're slightly more tippy than older models and I could go faster through the turn sections with my 07 summit. When buying a mountain sled the way it handles on the trail is the last of my concerns, I dont mind going a bit slower (apx. 10km/h) on the trail and being able to sidehill and carve as well as i can with the new summit.
Thanks.
