awesome thanks for the advise, what do you think of the ice ripper tracks? do you no if they compair to studs at all?

never had ice ripper, but i hear that they are pretty good thats the route I would go if i had the option, they will be almost just as good as studs, studs I think are over rated, My sled really hooks up on ice {1.25 ripsaw 144 studs} but besides that I cannot tell the differnce, I might go ice ripper, but im thinking next track will be a cobra 1.325 and then stud it, but studs can cause major problems like, torn tracks, heat exchangers, and lots more money. ice ripper all the way i say!!

Trails here are good I ride northern wi forest, langlade, florence, countys and upper michigan, some of my favs cruising speed is 80 and 65 around sweeping corners, also some winding trails, to break up the day, the 1200 is great for cruising 50-85.  Its so smooth and gas mileage always stays the same no matter if betting it 40-60mph or cruising at 85.  14.0 mpg im not sure what liters are.  some day when i hit big Im gonna get up there but for now i will just dream.  But some how im able to but 2500-3500 miles a year on

have u ever drivin the mxz 1200 to be able to compair or drivin with one

Yes i have and they are also great, the comments i made show you the benefits of gade over mxz, the only downfall of gade is it may be a little harder to navigate thru the corners but with setup and rider skill you shall overcome.  I think the traction on gade is outstanding and in wisconsin and up its all about hooking up.

what studs are people using to stud there 1200 4tecs? on my 600 etec i used 84 woodys grand master studs from royal distributing and they were great. also how many studs are people running in the center of there tracks and how are they working for you? also i have yet to decide between a new 2013 1200 mxz x or a 2013 1200 renegade x i have only a couple more days and i loved my 600 etec shortie but the 1200 gade is getting great reviews but never drivin a gade, so how does the gade handle the corners and trail riding when studded compaired to a mxz x??   or even just in general how do they compair i ride 95% on trail so i am leaning towards the mxz x but the gade and its great reviews is holding me from ordering its going to be a last min decision. thanks guys

Gade gets you more traction which is needed with 1200, not to much more sled for the corners, 144 studs with double backers 4,2,4 the 2 will change side to side every other row works good for me, 6 inch carbides with shim in ski pad, center shock all the way tight and heavy torsion springs, I am 200 pounds and that is my set up.  also you will lose 4mph top speed with gade but it is worth the power and traction from 0-85.  woodys grandmaster 1.325.  also the sled is perfect, but then again everybody thinks there sled is perfect.  And the heat exchanger is bigger, also make sure gade fits in trailer.  Good luck with r motion this sled should be great!!
