Oops, I was planning to buy a set mainly for the aluminum boots. I will put that order on hold until we hear something official.
Looks more like heat killed them, maybe they changed the plastic laminating the carbon?

Ovi8, I would not widen the sled. consider different skis for her instead. I currently run SLP SLT's. A very stable ski on trail that give a planted feel. No negatives in the pow so far. I came from SLP Powder Pros that were too aggressive for my liking.

I have done it last season. Use a small set of pliers and get the retaining ring out. Start from one end and work your way round. Do not bother to try and save it! Then remove old bushing by cracking it, using at sharp flat bladed screwdriver and a small hammer. Use glasses as the bushing kind of explodes if you hit it right. Then lightly sand the seating with emery cloth. And yes, use the 680 loctite. I have heard people using other loctite and having the bushing creep. It is not dificult but dont rush it. I also slid it back on the inner half while letting the loctite cure over the night. Good luck!

Thank you ajb9 for taking your time to analyze the Skinz front end and enlight us all. Good with pictures! I think your latest findings is part of the good handling. As far as I understand the increased "wheelbase" and the slacker caster both contribute to increased stability. Did the steering get less responsive?
