Clamp off the primer lines to the carbs and give it a try.

This is not a problem, drill an tap the holes out the bosses are there make sure you don't go to deep. The rotary valve covers are interchangable but keep in mind that you will have to match the ports if Decker tunnel ported the cases.  Hope this helps   Charlie
