it was the relay, bought a new one switched it out and now the sled is running great. thanks dootalkers

darn I wish i would have checked back sooner... I just ordered the parts today. This is actually for a buddy of mine and I will talk to him about the battery tray and such..

it won't run correctly  without the battery... I don't know why..
