same problem that yours.
i would check ignition switch....tether,kill switch.......or maybe a short....or bosch coil pack? i have had those do that, and if it is a short you will probably fry a coil pack.

I c'ant rev more than 7500 -8000 and at this state is back firing from the carb. I try different rotary plate ,clean the carb, check fuel pump, check the timming (a litle bit of advance) and put a good set of B9EV on it. All the power of this little 354 is in this rpm area and I want to make drag race . rev good but stop and bog at 7500 rpm
did you have any idea about my problem .
thx for answerAttached Image: monthly_02_2011/post-94844-0-31251200-1297000714.jpg

i would look at the driven clutch, the bushing on the moveable half of the clutch goes bad and acts the same way you are discribing, and i would not even start the motor without a belt on it.Ives done most of what you said already. That is why I'm kinda baffled about it. Off the line it will spin the track and leave a mound along with a trench about 15 long then once it gets going it has no power. The belt rode up the primary and down the secondary but that's with no load on the track.
