During a ride last night, my 2000 440 would cut out at wide open intermittently.  When I say cut out, it was like someone hit the kill switch and it would slightly throw you forward.   It was doing it fairly frequently early in the ride, but as the night went on it seemed a little less infrequent.  The carbs and clutches are clean and in good shape, sled idled where it should and ran great otherwise, it just occurred intermittently as you neared full throttle.  

 

I did not experience this issue the night before while riding 20 miles or so.  Prior to riding last night, I filled up with 93 octane at a local gas station.  Could it be poor fuel related...?

 

What are your thoughts regarding the cause of this; weak fuel pump, coil going bad, poor fuel...?

 

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.
