Anyone else getting snow in the rear seat storage compartment? Loaded mine up with stuff, use the rubber "strap", nice and tight. After a riding a few hours groomed and ungroomed stuff has a snow all over it.

Ice heave ALERT open water:Gogebic
18 January 2013 - 11:26 PM
Just heard and reported via Bergland Bay Bar
There is a Ice Heave with 10 ft plus of open water starting 4 houses North of Fish Tales restaurant.
One person went in already with sled.
update: One rider reported the heave spans across the entire lake
update 1/19. There are 2 open areas of water between the hoop and FishTales. There are heaves on the side of each hole.

2012 GSX SE1200 first 3 rides, good and bad

Bad 0%
Good 100%
What a great trail sled, fantastic power band and torque. Ditched banged about 40 miles or so on one of the rides, suspension is excellent, absorbed everything I threw at it and beat on it pretty bad. No noise from the clutch and no muffler drone, gauge package rocks. Seat nice and comfy lots of room for big boots, and a pure pleasure to ride. Temps in teens, nice and warm and the big windshield was not something I was used to, but like it quite a bit now. The torque really impressed me I couldn't keep off the throttle....engine breaking...hated it at first, once you learn to lean back when backing off the throttle it became a blast to ride.
2 thumbs up for the grandpa sled. Hate to say it but I don't see myself riding my 2 strokes anymore.
