Ahh. bored and doing some browsing on Kijiji.

Will only post Ski-doo brand now as some members don't like to see anything other vintage ski-doo sleds.

Water in fuel - remove?

Anyway to remove water from a fuel tank without draining all the fuel?

My glass on my fuel gauge is leaking and i'm sure water made it's way into the tank. Sled ran fine when i loaded it up onto the trailer. Stopped at gas station and topped it up ($15) and trailered to the lake. Unloaded and only made it 500feet then pop, fart, backfire.. really crappy running and stalling. Managed to load it back on trailer. Sled has trouble starting but will idle.

1997 Formula 500 deluxe. I added a bottle of gasline antifreeze. rocked the machine around a bit to help mix with the fuel. Will see how it runs tomorrow.
