Yeah, and listen to the voice of experience and take the seat off BEFORE you install ice screws or you'll scractch you hands to pieces. Elsewhere on this forum there were good ideas for creating a quick attach/release bracket for the seat. Think that'll be (one of )my summer project(s).
In Topic: Get warranty or not?

Really hard to judge for another person. All I can say is to make sure you find out WHAT is covered and what is NOT to avoid unpleasant surprises. Note that the extended warranties come with a $50 charge for each incident. If you don't ride very much and not hard it may not be worth it. I tend to get the extended warranties if there's a new technology (engine or frame) that has not proven itself yet. I got a '12 Expedition ACE 600 and got one extra year of warranty. Mine almost paid for itself with an issue with the guage console and hot grips. Other than that it's been pretty trouble-free but I don't even have 1000 miles on mine yet. Others have had clutch/bearing issues and mine has probably not had time to show up so I'm toying with the idea of extending mine but haven't yet decided.

. I think I am going to buy a replacment cam and see if I can modify it to fit the left side. The rail lookes like there is holes in it for the pin to lock in on thr right side already
This is interesting idea., Let us all know how it works

The manual only shows the adjustment being made on the one side and I don't think the other side would accomplish anything if it could even be easily done.
I believe the '13 are the same as the '12. There's been a reported problem by several (including me) where the cam partially rotates while in the partial lift position seemingly putting all of the stress on one little corner of the cam. BRP has not addressed this. One person on this forum fabricated his own little 'lock' out of a piece of metal to hold it in position. I have yet to do this but intend to.
