Got lucky...

I took the motor out and took the Rotary valve part. everything looked good so I took it to a mechanic because I didn't have a way to pressure test it.

He called today and said the pressure test went very good, very little leak down. So I'm off to pick it up and slide it back in tomorrow. Hopefully riding on Thursday.

I had forgotten that the sled sat in the bed of my truck for one whole day without the cover in the pouring rain. The mechanic said that they get water in the reservoir if they sit in the rain. I guess I'll remember that for ever and ever. He said I could have drained the tank and ran new oil and it would have been fine. At least I know it's OK...

The kid is really good!

I saw an X-games show yesterday that I had DVR'd while I was on vacation. He came is 2nd in the race I saw, but I don't know how old the race was. The announcers were saying that he's a sandbagger, and he should not race semi-pro. I'm not sure how that stuff all works but I hope he keeps putting the DooTalk sled up front.  

Whom ever pick him to support was right on the money...
