they are iron bore and ported dif. 95 tunnels are painted silver. 96 are black and 97 and up are purple. i have both 95 and 96. the 95s were the first year and limited number made. here is a pic of my 95.

ordered a new 2013 gsx se. love my black tripples. still keeping my 3 f-2000 triples. will be my first ever new sled.

very well i will word it differently, the counter shaft extension is not the same. i just changed a 95 f3 to a 800 and a 96 f3 to a 780 and it is shorter for the 600 and 700 from 97 down.
