That frogzfin kit does a good job of trapping the hot air inside the engin compartment.  Had it on my sled last year and the under hood temps were scortching.

These holes worked better then any vent kit.

Irondog, what diameter drill are you using there?  And are you setting the grid up with graph paper taped to your panel first?  That looks to perfect to be by the naked eye.

Does anyone know of any avy training classes for this fall in the Midwest?

Yes there is.  Mike Duffy is holding classes in Wisconsin and Chicago.  Go to his site here and check out the dates.  Took it from him last year, it's an excellent beginner class.  Chicago listed here.

They definitely help. They seem to help in side panel crashes also. I have just ordered my second set (upper and lowers, both sides); the first for an '08 and the second for the '10. Great guy to deal with and exceptional product!

I have attached a picture of a little fix for the clutch side panel; just a small piece of aluminum bolted to the foot guard. That little piece in conjunction with JC's vent has the problem solved.

Very nice!  Thanks for the suggestion!

Bought some of your kits in the past, really nice quality!

Question on the 08-11 XP Lower Honeycomb Vent Kit... Does this help in stiffening up the side panels at all?  I've had a few clutch side problems while sidehilling and the primary rubbing almost through the left panel.  Only fix I've seen is a dude using stiffer ABS plastic riveted to the panel.
