2010 Renegade 800R with electric start

 

I recently put in a new engine and stumped on the wiring from the stator to the regulator and ground.

The engine can start however no lights for the instrument and headlights. Connecting the red wire to one of the yellow wires and regulator I have found out.

The wires from the stator didn't come with a connector.

 

Wires in question:

- 3 yellow wires from stator

- 2 wires from wiring harness (Red and Black)

- voltage regulator

 

I downloaded the repair manual however after trying the wiring diagram... still no luck.

 

Need help in connecting the wires correctly, does anyone have a diagram showing which ones connect with which? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just got a 2010 Renegade X 800R from my friend's brother.
He had put in a new DESS but still unable to go off idle.
How do I get everything back in order?
Would the black box & DESS need to be sent to any skidoo dealer?

I am in Arviat and the closest dealer is in Thompson, MB.
I will be calling them tomorrow if they are able to help me.
