Loctite, yes. Torque is around 90 ft/lbs, but you won't get a torque wrench on there, use a large cresent wrench and tighten er good.

I have had luck putting some 5 min epoxy over both ends of the cord inside the groove. Prevents any more cord coming out.

Use a large solid pry bar (spud bar) and insert into lower arm and pry against the top front A-arm. This will push the lower Arm forward and the top Arm back to it's original position, and you can control the amount vs. hitting with a hammer. Did this on mine, and has been fine ever since.

Rollers are supposed to offer less resistance, increasing your rate of backshift.
